JAMB 2015/2016 CHANGE OF UNIVERSITY AND COURSE

This is to inform candidate that participated in the just concluded 2015/2016 UTME, that you can now change your  institution or course chosen earlier. Jamb portal is open now and easily accessible on JAMB website at www.jamb.org.ng .

 The exercise began on 1^st April, 2015 and will close on 15^th April, 2015. Thus, the exercise will last for two (2) weeks only.

REASONS FOR CHANGE OF  INSTITUTION OR COURSE YOU INITIALLY CHOSE  DURING THE UTME REGISTRATION.

i. Error During Registration:
You might have some  errors during your registration, this is the time to correct such mistake.

ii. Incomplete O Level Result

Error Due To Incomplete SSCE Result.
If your result is incomplete and doesn't fulfill the requirements of your chosen course you might want to change institution or course.

iii. Low UTME Score:
Now that you have seen your UTME score, the next thing is to prepare for post-UTME . If your score falls below cut-off mark for your initial chosen university you might consider purchasing a change of course form. In the same vein , if your score is above your institution cut-off, but not high enough to compete for the chosen course , you also might want to change to a less competitive course.



iv. Other Personal Reasons:
You might have other personal reasons why you want to change institution or course. This could be due to geographical reasons, proximity to your family, financial access, etc.

HOW TO APPLY
The procedure on how to change your institution or course is very simple as stated below;

i. Purchase the UTME change of course scratch card at any of the Jamb office or accredited centers across the country .

ii. Proceed to any of the accredited centers to complete the process

You will provide the following in other to complete the process;
(a) Your new choice of institution(s)
(b) Your new choice of course(s)

iii. Once the changes have been made , it will be submitted to the JAMB database and a new slip will be automatically generated , print it out and  you have successfully completed the process.

NB: JAMB change of course/institution ends 1^st May, 2015.
