The attention of the NYSC
Administration has been brought to the activities of some fraudsters who are
sending messages across some prospective corps members requesting body to go and check their status online for their
states of deployment.
This fraudsters refer to
their victims to a link and ask them to enter their access data i.e. their
login details as well as their decisions made in the process of their online
registration.
Therefore, the NYSC management
made a publication informing the entire members of the public and prospective
corps members that posting for states of
deployment has not started; but it will at the appropriate time in accordance
with established processes.
The so-called
"link" to be sent to potential the potential corps members is the
work of cyber-criminals and should, therefore, should not be taken into account.
Based on this announcement,
the general public and corps members are warned especially not to make payments
for displacement or reassignment, which is clearly the reason for this cyber-criminals.
The NYSC management therefore
advice and hereby inform potential Corps members that they will be inform as
soon as their posting letters are ready for printing online or delivery
to their various institutions of graduation.
