This to inform
the general public and our esteemed readers the Joint Admissions and
Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the date for the 2016/2017
examination.
The
management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed
that the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will commence on
February 29 2016. This disclosure was made known by the board’s Head of
Public Relations, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.
The examination
which is expected to last for one week will have one million candidates
participating in about 500 Internet-complaint centres across the country which will
be used for the Computer-based Test [CBT] in the country. Also there about
seven other centres that will be used outside the country.
Based on
this publication, candidates for JAMB 2016/2017 are advised to re-print their JAMB
registration slip by visiting any JAMB accredited Computer-Based Test [CBT] Centre
or any reputable cybercafé nearest to them from 18th February, 2016
to know their exact examination date, time of examination and venue of the
exam.
Important Notice: Candidates are seriously advised not to
arrive at their various centres/venue 30 minutes before the scheduled time and
ensure they adhere strictly to their examination date, time and venue as a
candidate who misses his or her examination will have no opportunity to write
again until the next year. I know you wouldn’t like that to happen.
So, adhere
strictly to this instruction to avoid stories that touches.
But if your
centre is far from your residence, you could contact a friend or relatives
closer to the centre to accommodate you a day before the exam, so you don’t
miss this year’s JAMB examination.
All have
been written to make sure you don’t miss the exam and for you to be there on
time and come out successful in the exam.
